Rating: ★★★★★ My compliments to the chefs! This was, hands down, the most delicious fish and chips I have ever eaten. Everything was perfect and clearly made with high-quality ingredients, all at a very fair price. Beyond the food, the service was outstanding. My server, Rachel, was amazing—fun, enthusiastic, and incredibly friendly. She truly made the experience exceptional. I also highly recommend the Black and Tans; they were great and very refreshing. I will definitely visit again anytime I'm in Dallas!

The Monte Cristo is tasty. There are so many good choices on Playwrights menu, like Scotch Eggs or Shepherds Pie or fish & chips. The portions are generous; you might want to share a couple entrees. Playwright has an excellent bar- anything you want, they can make it.

My husband and I came here after the Hamilton show Friday for the very first time. We were greeted by friendly staff and the manager. We absolutely loved the atmosphere, service, and the fantastic FOOD!!! We will be back!
